designheap: a experiment collaboration and education between multidisciplinary artists.

Designheap.com was formed in late February of 2005 after much discussion amongst a group of art graduates from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

The consensus was that everyone would like more exposure for themselves and their work. When the idea of getting space on the web arose, it was decided that web galleries were a good start, but there needed to more.

Eventually, the concept evolved into what you see on the site now: A virtual location to collaborate and learn, with the possibility to develop promotional tools that exceed each individual member's scope of knowledge.
